Coming together to help feed all of our First Responders and the impacting community. Day 1 and 2 We fixed up some famous DQ Pastalaya and fed 900 for lunch. Paul and Sheila Spalitta and the every present Love and support of S&W Foods and Bry Layrisson came to help cook and distribute. Pastor Harrell Sharkey of Kedron Baptist Church and their team also helped with the distribution.
Dayu 3 was smoked Chicken and beans, Courtesy of Wayne Sanderson Farms. We fed in conjunction with Our Daily Bread 700 first responders and community families.
Day 4 Was Sausage Dogs, courtesy of Manda Fine Meats and Operation BBQ Relief. We served 832 members of the community.
Day 5 We made up some more pastalaya for 400 workers and members of the community. Our total for the 5 days was to serve 2900 meals. Great job team.
This has been an enormous disaster and to see our community come together to love on one another is inspiring. We are proud to be a part of the team helping bring HOPE and Love when it's needed Most. It's what we do, It's who we are.
We can't do this without your love and support www.Unitedbybbq.com
