Hammond, LA – On August 3, 2023 – United By BBQ, Inc. (UBB) a Louisiana non-profit
Organization announced they had the honor of serving over 200 Police Chiefs and their
Representatives at their annual training conference on July 25, 2023. UBB-Executive Director, Jeff Petkevicius and the LA Association of Chiefs Executive Director Fabian Blache are working together to ensure that first responders and community members in need receive quality meals during tragic times.
United by BBQ will coordinate with the Associations Disaster Response task force to guarantee that their departments are taken care of when events hit across the state.
Petkevicius shared that UBB has made feeding first responders priority number one, since being formed in Sept. 2020. Working with local law enforcement departments is an efficient way to take care of impacted communities. Since our formation, we have cooked BBQ in 92 events and, with our partners, have fed 758,318 people
We look forward to this ongoing relationship and we thank all of the men and women who work tirelessly during disasters. We will continue to focus on helping take care of them.
